Hostal ComplutenseThis smart, city-centre hotel is set in an attractive townhouse in the middle of Alcalá de Henares, 30 km from Madrid’s city centre. It occupies the Iberian Peninsula and is bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea. The Complutense is located beside the university campus of the same name. It also includes the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic and the cities of Ceuta and Melilla Its total surface area is 504,788 sq kms Spain's powerful world empire of the 16th and 17th centuries ultimately yielded command of the seas to England. It is also surrounded by the many monuments of this ancient Castillian city. Subsequent failure to embrace the mercantile and industrial revolutions caused the country to fall behind Britain, France, and Germany in economic and political power. Outside the hotel you will find a suburban train station from where regular train services run to the centre of Madrid. Spain remained neutral in World Wars I and II, but suffered through a devastating Civil War (1936-39). This allows you to easily enjoy the vibrant and cultural Spanish capital. In the second half of the 20th century, it has played a catch-up role in the western international community.

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

Children and Extra Bed Policy
