Situated in the centre of the medieval town of Aínsa, surrounded by the Huescan Pyrenees mountain range, the hotel lies next to the River Ara, an ideal starting for numerous point activities. In addition, there is a well-preserved town square and all with impressive mountain peaks as the backdrop. Spain remained neutral in World Wars I and II, but suffered through a devastating Civil War (1936-39). A little further a field you will find the Ordesa National Park, made up of 4 valleys and the Sierra Guara and Posets-Maladeta Nature Reserves. In the second half of the 20th century, it has played a catch-up role in the western international community.
