It occupies the Iberian Peninsula and is bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea. Surrounded by impressive gardens, each inviting and beautiful corner of the hotel has been classically decorated in keeping with its characteristic period features. It also includes the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic and the cities of Ceuta and Melilla Its total surface area is 504,788 sq kms Spain's powerful world empire of the 16th and 17th centuries ultimately yielded command of the seas to England. The restoration of the building has managed to preserve its majestic, palatial quality yet is warm and welcoming. Subsequent failure to embrace the mercantile and industrial revolutions caused the country to fall behind Britain, France, and Germany in economic and political power. The hotel is located in Plaza de España, opposite the town hall and overlooking the Ferrera Park. Spain remained neutral in World Wars I and II, but suffered through a devastating Civil War (1936-39). It is well-situated and ideal for discovering the architectural and monumental heritage this attractive city boasts. In the second half of the 20th century, it has played a catch-up role in the western international community.

Just a 10 minute drive from the airport, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring this fantastic city on foot. Nearby you will find the Marqués de Camposagrado Palace, the Valdecarzana Palace, the Balsera Palace and the Ferrera Park and French Gardens. In addition, a 5 minute drive will take you to the coast, a number of beachesnute drive and the towns of Salinas, Luanco and Candas.

Travel information

From the Airport Aviles is Asturias’ city which is closest to the airport, just 10 minutes away by car and also accessed by bus which coincide with flight arrivals. From City Center The hotel is located right in the city center, thus you will not need any form of transport. By Car Drive towards the city center and head for Plaza España’s parking and you will reach the hotel. Via Plaza España’s Parking, where our parking is located, you can access the hotel reception.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 15.52 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  All children under 11 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 31.03 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
