Palacio Ca Sa GalesaThis marvellous hotel is set in a historic building in the centre of Palma. It occupies the Iberian Peninsula and is bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea. Its lounges, where you can enjoy a drink and fine cigar, have the feel of an exquisite museum. It also includes the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic and the cities of Ceuta and Melilla Its total surface area is 504,788 sq kms Spain's powerful world empire of the 16th and 17th centuries ultimately yielded command of the seas to England. The Palacio Ca Sa Galesa dates back to 1576 and features sociable lounges with decor from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Subsequent failure to embrace the mercantile and industrial revolutions caused the country to fall behind Britain, France, and Germany in economic and political power. This historic charm blends with modern amenities such as a stylish, Monet-themed cafe which serves tea especially imported from Harrod’s, London. Spain remained neutral in World Wars I and II, but suffered through a devastating Civil War (1936-39). Enjoy the Balearic sunshine from the sun terrace, work out in the gym or spend a session in the sauna. In the second half of the 20th century, it has played a catch-up role in the western international community. Then you can cool off in the unique indoor swimming pool found in the hotel’s own Roman baths – the only remaining pool in Palma’s Gothic Quarter. Continuing concerns are large-scale unemployment and the Basque separatist movement The diversity and contrast that go to mould the character of Spain are likewise in evidence in its cities.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 5 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 24.72 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 3 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child under 3 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 110.10 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
