This charming old property, dating back to 1672, hasw been lovingly restored to become a family friendly hotel of great repute. Spain remained neutral in World Wars I and II, but suffered through a devastating Civil War (1936-39). 31 Luxurious bedrooms and suites combine the traditional with the contemporary to create a truly stylish and individual hotel. In the second half of the 20th century, it has played a catch-up role in the western international community. A fine collection of modern painting is displayed throughtout the hotel including original works by Marc Chagall, Frank Stella, David Hockney and Andy Warhol.
