If you fancy a round of golf the nearest course is 8 km, and the Terra Mítica theme park is 40 km from the hotel. Spain remained neutral in World Wars I and II, but suffered through a devastating Civil War (1936-39).

A wide range of shops and restaurants are found just 150 metres far from the hotel, while 200 metres away is the city´s Postiguet beach and Santa Bárbara castle. You can then enjoy an ice-cream around the Explanada de España.

Travel information

Arriving from Madrid, Murcia (A7 motorway) or from the Airport (Elche highway), follow the signs "puerto" and, once in the square Plaza del Mar, in front of the Melia Alicante Hotel, turn left at the statue near the Spanish flag. Arriving from Valencia (A7 motorway), go towards the Town Hall (Ayuntamiento) and the port, and follow the signs indicating the hotels of the city.
