It is set in a privileged location just 5 minutes from the historic city centre. Subsequent failure to embrace the mercantile and industrial revolutions caused the country to fall behind Britain, France, and Germany in economic and political power. The hotel has extensive facilities including a fitness centre to help you take care of body and mind. Spain remained neutral in World Wars I and II, but suffered through a devastating Civil War (1936-39). This AC Selection hotel is located in the heart of La Mancha region, 80 km to the south of Madrid. In the second half of the 20th century, it has played a catch-up role in the western international community.

From Madrid-Barajas Airport (80 km): By Taxi: A taxi directly to the hotel takes about 1 hour and costs EUR 100-115. By Bus: Take a bus to Méndez Álvaro bus station in Madrid (about EUR 1). From there take the Galiano Continental bus to Toledo. By Metro/Train: Take the Metro to Atocha in Madrid (lines 1, 4, 8), then take an AVE train to Toledo (EUR 8.60). By Car: - Leave the A-42 motorway at exit 69 for Toledo. - Once on the CM-4001, you will find a roundabout. - Take the 3rd exit and once in Calle Castilla-La Mancha, turn left. - At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards the N-400. - Turn right onto Paseo de la Rosa and continue straight ahead for 2 km. - Turn right onto Carretera de la Circunvalación, where the hotel is located at number 15. By Public Transport: The nearest bus and train stations are in Toledo (3 km), from where you can reach the hotel by taxi in 5 minutes (about EUR 5).

Area information

The city’s famous old Cigarral houses are easily accessible by car. The whole historic centre of the city can be reached on foot within 20 minutes.
