The hotel is located in the city center by the shopping and business area and less than a half mile away from the historic center. Subsequent failure to embrace the mercantile and industrial revolutions caused the country to fall behind Britain, France, and Germany in economic and political power. The hotel provides with 66 modern and comfortable rooms equipped with all the latest technology and natural amenities, , parking, BODYNA Spa, fitness area, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, several UTMOST meeting rooms and a patio that make the Palau de la Mar a unique hotel in Valencia City. Spain remained neutral in World Wars I and II, but suffered through a devastating Civil War (1936-39).
